
The NYC JrFLL took place on January 11, 2009 at City College of New York hosted by the LAESA -SHPE Chapter of CCNY. Eight JrFLL teams, kids from ages 6-9 showed off th
eir research and LEGO building skills as a result of their investigations of climate change. Congratulations to PS 11 of Manhattan for being awarded the Judges' Award for their outstanding project; and "well done!" to all the young scientists who participated.

Congratulations, to the 20 FLL teams from the Bronx, 14 teams fro
m Manattan, 13 teams from Staten Island, 13 teams from Brooklyn, & 12 teams from Queens who will be competing at the NYC FLL (FIRST LEGO League) tournament on March 7, 2009 at
the Jacob Javits Center in NYC. Also, that weekend the FRC(FIRST Robotic Competition) and the FTC (FIRST TECH Competition will be taking place.
